      • Discount and Rate Conditions
      • AAA/CAA rates, discounts and benefits are available at all Hertz corporate and participating licensee locations.
      • Most rates are guaranteed for 240 days at Hertz corporate and most licensee locations. Some licensee locations guarantee rates for 60 days only.
      • Weekly rates require a minimum rental of 5 days. Higher rate may apply if vehicle is returned early. Renter should notify Hertz of changes to return parameters.
      • Higher inter-city rates apply if vehicle is not returned to the renting city.
      • Discounts apply to rate and mileage, if any.
      • Renters must be 21 years of age, must present a valid driver's license and a major credit card at time of rental. Age differential charge and certain exceptions may apply.
      • In order for AAA/CAA discount and benefits to apply, a AAA/CAA CDP# must appear on their Hertz rental agreement.
      • At most Hertz locations in US, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands, Hertz will accept debit/check cards in place of a credit or charge card. An acceptable debit card must feature a Visa or MasterCard logo on the cad and debit/check card must have available funds, sufficient to pay estimated amount of the rental charges plus an amount up to $200 to cover any incidental charges to secure the rental. Gift, Prepaid and Stored Value cards will only be accepted as payment at the end of the rental and a valid major credit card or acceptable debit/credit card will be required at time of rental.

      • Member Satisfaction Guarantee - Hertz guaratees that the rate and car class, or a higher car class, will be available as reserved, and the vehicle will be clean and in good mechanical condition. Should a problem exist at time of vehicle pick-up, customer should notify the Rental Representative prior to leaving the rental location and it will be corrected.
      • Free use of one child safety seat with every rental. Advance reservations required and subject to availability.
      • 50% discount off rental of SIRIUS Satellite Radio. Advance reservations required and subject to availability.
      • 25% discount off daily fee for Hertz NeverLost©, in-car navigation system. Advance reservations required and subject to availability.
      • No charge for additional drivers who are AAA/CAA members, hold a major credit card in their own name and meet standard rental qualifications.
        • Additional drivers who are not members are charged a daily fee of up to $15.
      • No required Saturday night keep to qualify for low weekly rates. Leisure and/or promotional weekly rates routinely require that the car be rented over a Saturday night. Exceptions may apply on special offers.
      • No airline ticket required to qualify for low weekly rates on local rentals at most locations.
      • Guaranteed Best Rate Available at time of reservation by booking channel.
      • Exclusive offers for AAA/CAA members on a AAA offers page on hertz.com.
      • Free unlimited mileage on most rentals.
      • AAA/CAA members receive a 50% discount off the Hertz #1 Club Gold membership fee when enrolling on aaa.com.
      • Free #1 Club Gold for one year for AAA Premier membership level.
      • Special AAA-exclusive rates and/or value-added coupon offers apply periodically throughout the year. Exclusive coupons offering upgrades and dollars-off are available for AAA/CAA members. (U.S. & Canada only).

      Benefit Information for Rentals - Benefits do not apply on international rentals. To receive discounts and benefits, AAA/CAA members must identify themselves at time of reservation by using either a Hertz AAA/CAA CDP identification number or their AAA/CAA club code. Renters must provide proof of membership at time of rental by presenting one of the following: valid AAA/CAA membership card; Hertz AAA/CAA CDP ID card; AAA Visa or AAA MasterCard. AAA/CAA CDP# must appear on rental agreement to receive discounts and benefits.

      Benefit Information for U.S. Rentals - Program benefits are only applicable on U.S. rentals and apply only to renters 21 years of age and older. To receive discounts and benefits, AAA/CAA members must identify themselves at time of reservation by using either a Hertz AAA/CAA CDP identification number or their AAA/CAA club code.
