Summary
From a home-based office, performs leisure agent duties of moderate difficulty. To be able to plan, develop, and design domestic and international tours, as well as motorcoach, rail and cruise. Negotiate the components for best value to include all transportation, motel, meals, guides, and sightseeing.

Duties

Sells a variety of products, both domestic and international, to include airline tickets, rail, motorcoach, cruise, hotel reservations, car rentals and land packages. Plans and confirms reservations. Advises clients of policies and cancellations. Disburses tickets and documents. Collects appropriate monies. Uses follow-up to develop repeat clientele

Provides direct service to members through in-person and telephone in all areas of travel. Ensures quality service delivery to members/clients. Follows established security measures set by Management. Follows proper accounting procedures.

Meets established sales and commission goals set by Management. Effectively uses cross-selling techniques to promote all AAA products and services.

Responsible for providing a high quality of customer service to all members. Will be reviewed using Quality Standard survey results annually.

Fluent on AAA applications to include but not limited to AXIS, Apollo, and vendor websites.

Negotiate all vendors for best rates, price and package.

Operates computerized airline reservation equipment and conforms to the procedures for the computerized accounting system for Apollo/Galileo, including ticketing, exchanges and refunds.

Processes requests for travel literature, and brochures. Maintains client files. Responsible for all documentation to include putting together and distribution to clients. Responsible for all deadlines for assigned clients, cancels, makes payments, deposits and final payments.

Keeps current on changes and travel trends through reading travel magazines, computerized daily briefings and bulletins and by attending related seminars, in-house trainings, Webinars and eLearnings.

Language
