Our Association, serving more than 2.7 million motorists in New York State, urges support for the following key legislative initiatives:

STATE LEGISLATURE
  • Support consistent and sustainable funding for road and bridge reconstruction by repairing the state’s dedicated trust fund.
  • Advocate legislation to remove canal operations from Thruway oversight.
  • Monitor “public/private partnership” proposals.
  • Advocate improvements to the state’s Graduated Driver Licensing law.
  • Support measures to address senior mobility issues.
