AAA to Offer Point & Insurance Reduction in Caledonia
Participants Save Money and Improve Driving Skills
ROCHESTER, NY, JUNE 17, 2008 – For the first time in the Caledonia/Mumford area, AAA Western and Central New York will sponsor a six-hour Driver Improvement Program course on Monday, July 28th and Wednesday, July 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. both evenings at Caledonia-Mumford Central School, 99 North Street, Caledonia, NY 14423.
Class participants will receive a 10 percent insurance discount on the collision and liability portions of their auto insurance, reduce up to four points on their driving record for violations occurring within the past 18 months, and refresh and sharpen their driving knowledge, while learning to take a proactive approach to safe driving and the latest techniques for collision prevention. The insurance reduction portion of the course is valid for up to three years.
The cost for AAA members is $35 and $41 for non-members.
AAA Driver Improvement instructors are professionally trained and the class is recognized and approved by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles as a Point and Insurance Reduction Program.
